A little introspection...

To me, being successful means...
Obviously being able to sustain yourself financially is one component to happiness, however the bigger part of the equation is the genuine relationships you surround yourself with. Authentic connections with family and friends become a higher level of priority as one matures!!

My definition of success has not changed over time.

My greatest accomplishment to date and what I’ve learned from it
Completing my education and have the opportunity to raise two children who became wonderful, productive, kind and compassionate adults!!

My biggest mistake or regret so far and what I’ve learned from it
Hmm, tough one!! I often say to myself that I wish I wouldn't have waisted several years in my first choice of occupations, but then again, no education is wasted??

An unexpected event that significantly changed my life and how it impacted me
Probably when my family immigrated to the United States at my difficult age of 14 and I didn't speak any English!! Kids laughed and made fun of me and it was difficult to be a kid at [junior high school name omitted]. As I acclimated my school life became much better !! The impact it had on me was to be true to myself and not allow others to influence me! I would rather have no friends than be with the wrong kids for me!!
