Did your education prepare you for your career or occupation?
Yes

Has your education or career/occupation trajectory ever changed? How?
Semi- I usually had two jobs while acquiring my 3,000 MFT supervised hours

A little introspection...

To me, being successful means...
being happy, sharing your happy moments with others, being around friends and family

My definition of success has changed over time.
success was defined if I was able to get a paying job, not just another internship

My greatest accomplishment to date and what I’ve learned from it
Passing my MFT licensing exam- it takes a lot of resilience, perseverance, and support from colleagues, clients, friends and family

An unexpected event that significantly changed my life and how it impacted me
My every changing jobs and MFT internships led me to find a job in the redwoods that led to me find new friends, challenge my view of my own privilege, continue to grow my cultural competency and lens, finding a significant other, and a place I will always call home.
